Dear Prospective Vendor: Thank you for your interest in the 9th Annual Alaska 4x4 Meet and Greet. The 2009 event will run June 19th through June 21st at the Alaska Air and Transportation Museum. This is a family-oriented event promoting camaraderie, and networking throughout Alaska’s Off Highway Vehicle community and is attended by about 300 outdoor and off-road enthusiasts . The deadline for applications is May 18, 2010. No applications will be accepted after the deadline. Vendors will be selected based on the event needs and availability of resources. All applicants will be informed of their application status by Jun 1, 2010. The rates for 2010 are $50.00 for all vendors. Please note that running water and electricity will not be available on site. All licensing, sales and taxes will be vendor’s responsibility. If you will be serving food items, the Department of Environmental Conservation health department requires that you have a food-service permit. The goal of the Alaska 4x4 Meet and Greet is to offer participants a wide variety of food, activities and gear at a reasonable price. When reviewing each application, attention is focused on past experience, simplicity, cost to the participants, booth plans, and especially the nature of the items being sold. Please make sure your application is complete. You may include pictures or any other information; a cover letter briefly telling about why your products or services would be attractive to our participants is encouraged. Neatness and simplicity are important.
