  Minutes from June 10 Meeting

The latest meeting minutes have been added to the Archive section, and can be found by clicking here.  As of June 3, 2004 Alaska Extreme Fourwheelers is recognized as a Nonprofit Corporation by the State of Alaska.  You may begin to notice small changes on the webpage and club related correspondence as the club will be referred to as "Alaska Extreme Fourwheelers, Inc." for official purposes.

I would like to point out that there are no changes to our by-laws or current procedures due to this new status.  Accurate treasury report and meeting minutes now have legal importance, but because that was already being done this year no changes are necessary.

Incorporation is a big step (though it was relatively simple to complete) in giving the club a professional image as well as helping to mitigate risk when organizing events such as the Meet and Greet.  A big thanks to club member Rob Corbisier for getting this project completed.

  Meeting Minutes

On May 27 we had a sort of flashback as Scott conducted the meeting in the club President's absence.  The B-29 memorial fundraising being headed up by Chaz Irvine was the main topic, as well as some on-going land access meetings.  The full minutes can be found here.

  Park Clean-up

Last Thursday we had our first park clean-up of the year.  Fortunately the park looked reasonably good.  The club still filled over a dozen large trash bags, as well as dispose of some oversize items like a bicycle.

After our clean-up efforts, we held a brief meeting.  The minutes can be found here.  The are also available in the Archive Section.
